Yr Oriel Llun Mewn Ffrâm offers a professional framing service and also promotes the work of artists in the small but effective gallery and workshop in Penygroes near Caernarfon.
OUR HISTORY
Aled Griffiths took the first steps in Pwllheli over 30 years ago. Then Meical Roberts took over in 2002. Over the years Meical like Aled before him founded the business on trust and service quality, I will also strive to keep these characteristics as a foundation for a picture in a frame.
TODAY
My journey started with Llun Mewn Ffrâm in October 2024 after a 5 month learning period with Meic. The first 4 months gave me the opportunity to revive the gallery and workshop. My framing skills were put to the test during a very busy 6 weeks before Christmas, and January gave me the opportunity to find exciting stock for the gallery and develop this website.
Moving forward we wish to maintain the standard of the framing service and explore new ways of promoting art for those artists who want to spend more time at the easel and less at the counter. The art world has amazing fresh artists knocking on the door right now and we welcome those who are ready to release their idea of art.
