My Art

I am originally from Swansea, and the creative element has always been in me. I was trained in the visual arts at Swansea and Cardiff art colleges. Although I spent a decade as an art teacher, and another decade as an education officer at Amgueddfa Cymru, being a full-time artist was something I could no longer put off. Although I paint the occasional portrait, the landscape and coast of Wales are the two main subjects in my artwork which takes place in the studio in Cardigan. As the years pass the style becomes freer and more experimental.
