Meirion Jones
Meirion Jones was born in Dyfed, and attended Dyfed College of Art and the University of Wales. He went into the teaching profession for a decade until he decided to focus on his art full time in 2002. Much of Meirion's work is greatly inspired by Wales.
My Art
My work is about people and the land. And looking for patterns and forms in the geography is very appealing to me along with suggesting stories in the pictures of people. Although I exhibited my work across the border, I much prefer to connect on an artistic level with kindred spirits.
There is no pattern to my creativity, and I like to think that this arbitrary element gives freshness to the work.
